Social Inclusion Report

Social inclusion is a focus of work for the Commonwealth’s new Office of the Not for Profit Sector.   For community and health organisations around Australia, social inclusion is a central aspect of their work.  The hard yards of connecting disadvantaged or isolated people with community services and networks.  The second edition of How Australia is Faring Today report shines a light on social inclusion in Australia.  This is the principal research report which tracks Australia’s progress against a range of social inclusion indicators.  Interesting reading for anyone involved in the community or health sector – especially the areas of concern identified for more work.
